Pregnancy can bring great joy and excitement but may also cause fear and uncertainty. Many women experience a wide range of emotions during pregnancy. It may be helpful to talk about your feeling to other women in similar life situations. Often, learning more about pregnancy can alleviate fears and help you feel more prepared. We know the importance of continuity at a time when all is changing; the benefits of having someone who is there to support you as you adapt to pregnancy, prepare for birth and adjust to those early days with baby, navigating the transition to parenthood

Birth is not the beginning. It is a continuation, another level of life, following the time in the womb. Your baby is as much a member of your family at one week old in the womb as he is at one week old following birth. Unborn babies have emotional needs. They need to be loved and nurtured, acknowledged and accepted. This is where prenatal bonding comes in.

We have all the education to share, of course – but we support you, Mum and Baby, as you develop your own confidence, instincts and way in the world.

During the session we will talk about the amazing way your baby develops and the effects that may have upon your own body – both good and bad. Learn how to stay healthy and even discover a couple of birthing tips. Of course you will also get a chance to have a coffee and chat with other parents at similar points in pregnancy to yourself and start making lasting friendships.
